^ A lot of that is sort of my point.  Creed COULD have the comeback/expansion etc. that Bon Jovi was able to have.  If you would have said to somebody(In America, evidently) 10 years ago that Bon Jovi was going to have the recent success they've had they'd have laughed in your face.  Similiar to how everybody is reacting right now about how it could never happen with Creed.

I obviously don't know a lot about what Jovi did in the 90's but I'd put Slippery and Jersey in the same cookie cutter 80's category that their 1st albums were.  They may be better, but they're no less poppy or indicative of the time they come from.

I hate that I'm kind of defending Creed.

Also, I just googled it.  I don't know that I ever heard any of the 4 top ten singles from that album that came out in '95.

I don't really mean to be shit talking Jovi as much as I'm coming off as doing.  I just think they and Creed are both pop-rock bands without a lot going on.  I'm not a Jovi or Creed fan at all, but there are other bands that can fall into the category that I do enjoy.

So did one hit wonders. The similarity? Both artists songs are forgotten about as soon as they go off the charts.  only difference is Bon Jovi had a few more successful, but forgettable songs.

No. You cannot quote "they had hits in 1995" and then say "so did one hit wonders". Because, by definition, one hit wonders had ONE HIT, and it clearly says Bon Jovi had hits, plural. I don't mean to be a prick but come on, think a little.
