My friends birthday falls the same night as Halloween and he wants it to be fancy dress (for the record I fucking hate fancy dress). So now I'm looking for ideas for a costume that I can realistically go out into town wearing and have a beer or 8 without me being a) terrified of ruining it and it costing me the earth and b) it pissing me off and getting in the way all night. So far I've hit a blank.

Any suggestions?

If so, some friends of mine always have a Halloween party, I'm thinking of MJ. Just the white t-shirt, black pants, white socks & black shoes. I need the wig & sunglasses though (Dirty Diana look). Otherwise, I was thinking of wearing a Slanket/Snuggie & just being a douchebag in a Snuggie. Could be funny at the bars.
