Am i the only one who still thinks the Bruno thing was Real and they made it out like Em was in on it to stop a potential lawsuit and for Em to save face?

I don't think this was staged and Taylor's performance wasn't pre-recorded either.

I don't know if you're the only one, but there can't be many who share that view.  That seemed painfully obvious that it was staged and made sense for all parties for it to be.  But in this case, it didn't seem staged and it didn't make sense for it to be staged.  MTV was the only winner in the end as it had people talking.  Maybe Taylor Swift too, as she get the public sentiment.  But Kanye came out looking terrible, and a cancelled tour for "lack of interest" isn't a good sign for the future.

Yeah but its the same with this Kanye argument

what did Eminem gain from having a gay fashion reporter's balls in his face? kind of ruins his tough guy rapper image especially the way he bitched out and ran out

Eminem had an album debut that week, or around that time.  It gets people talking, keeps his name in the press.

Tough guy rapper image?  Would he have been better off beating Bruno on live TV and face lawsuits?  He certainly didn't come off looking bad with the incident and when all was said and done he proved he had a sense of humor after overreacting years ago when "Triumph the Insult Comic" tried to interview him.  That was a more embarassing incident than the Bruno stunt.  He should've worked out a deal with Robert Smigel and said THAT was staged.

Kanye's tour fell apart because he's an alcoholic. Doesn't have anything to do with this, and whether or not it was staged. I say 50/50 it was legit or fake. But it doesn't matter.

If anything, the canceled tour shows a lack of interest in Lady Gaga, who is probably THE hottest pop star in the world right now.

Will be interesting to see how her second album does. If I'm Gaga, I milk the current album for all it's worth.

This has nothing to do with the VMA incident being staged. People who buy Poker Face on Itunes aren't willing to pay 100 bucks to see her perform it live.

Actually it was. That's not even open to debate. MTV themselves mentioned it in articles right after the event.

I'll take the word of the people who actually put the event together and broadcast it on television.

It was prerecorded. She did it earlier in the evening.

I think it has a little to do with Kanye not being able to fill the seats as well.  Lady Gaga's not alone on the bill.

I've heard nothing of the tour being cancelled because of Kanye's bout with alcohol.  It's possible, but I think if tickets were selling like wildfire he'd find a way to do the shows.

Beyonce Knowles is finally breaking her silence about Kanye West storming the stage at the VMAs to declare that she should have won Best Female Video instead of Taylor Swift.

"Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award,'" Beyonce, 28, told O: The Oprah magazine editor at large Gayle King (via MTV News) at the Billboard Awards over the weekend, when she was named Woman of the Year.

"When they didn't call my name, he was, like, completely shocked," Knowles says. "And when he walked on the stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!'"

Knowles -- who handed the mic over to Swift after winning Video of the Year later that night -- continues, "But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment -- and I didn't have to make an acceptance speech."

After his outburst, West, 32, apologized multiple times on his blog, to Jay Leno and to Swift -- and declared he was taking time away from the public eye to "analyze how I'm gonna make it through the rest of this life and improve."

It was announced last week that his Fame Kills tour with Lady Gaga had been canceled.
