I thought this may be a good idea for a thread that will serve a dual purpose. One is to "boast" your ten favorite songs by any artist you like or to see what other members prefer by this artist. The second purpose will be to help people who are interested in a certain artist (but currently have heard little/nothing by them) to get some recommendations for an introduction to their music.
After you list ten songs by the group of your choice you can end it there or request a list of the ten best songs from a group you would like to know more about. If no request is made then the next person will simply list any ten songs (or less if desired) by the artist of their choice. This could be a fun way to get recommendations from other board members.
I will start it out with a "Take Ten" for Quiet Riot as a tribute to their sad recent loss.

BLS, I'm gonna download those 10 Down tracks. If I like them, I'll go buy their first album as a start. Been meaning to check out more of their stuff than the couple tracks I've heard, but I always forget. I don't listen to much newer rock anymore.

I too recommend the video/DVD "The kids are alright".Chaotic performances,smashed guitars,drummers out of control and,of course,very,very good music.

When I first heard Back to Good, it was at a time in my life when I was spending a lot of time getting drunk because I wasn't very happy with where I was in life but didn't know how to fix it. I was working a job I hated and engaged to someone I didn't really want to marry, but I felt I owed it to her because she saved my life. So I would sit in the bars wondering what it would be like to be with some of the other women at the bar instead of where I was at the time, so the song struck a nerve for me.

Wish I could've listed more, but it bothers me when people write a top ten and then add more. Change is my favorite ballad ever, great to listen with a good pair of headphones in a quiet room. Shannon's voice on that track is angelic. After that, the songs listed 2 to 10, I could put those in any order depending on the day.
Buzzsaw I like your MB20 list, but I'd put Feel, You're So Real and 3 AM in place of Busted, How Far We've Come and Bright Lights. Just my opinion, of course.
