top 32 for the tourney based on nominations....discuss...if everyone is ok with it then i will start the tourney tomorrow..if not then we will have to do what we did for the movie one where everyone nominates 2 (or 4) games each..just vote yes or no

Sorry to be a pain in the ass but I'd say redo the nominations. We don't need 4 mario games or 4 GTA games, I love GTA but I don't think all of them need to be in. That's a quarter of the possible games from only two franchises.
I realise that's a bit rich coming from someone who didn't nominate in the first place, but I was away and missed the thread otherwise I would have sent my nominations

Yeah, you should probably just vote for those mutlple games as a series. Super Mario Brothers as a whole. Madden as a whole. I mean I could vote for the last 10 Maddens, probably played them the most, but that doesn't make much sense.
Plus I missed out on the original nominations.

The list isn't as bad it might have been or could yet be, but not one "Final Fantasy" ect...?

I don't like the idea of grouping Mario Bros 1,3 and World into one group. Yes the basic premise is get from left to right but each game can stand on it's own individually and do feel like a different game when you play them. Madden though is a sports game apart from change of playes and updated jerseys it's the exact same. GTA whilst the forumula hasn't changed much I can slightly understand more having them up their seperately.
One thing for sure though Mario 64 CANNOT get grouped in with those other Mario titles up there. It's a completely different game with a different objective.

I'm guessing Neemo is the one vote for yes? 
I agree that we should maybe redo it. Use the term "Series" for certain games ie Mario and GTA. Get some other different games in there.
BTW, I'm still pissed that Deus Ex was voted off before this thing even began.

I agree with Mario, I was going to make an exception to that. However I DON'T think there should be 4 of them. Madden & GTA I feel are still a franchise, just better graphics. JMHO. That, or just pick the best of them.
