Re: M.I.A. debuts new song 'Born Free' at festivals
Now I wish I had went to the SF fest. 
This is a shit quality recording from the Street Scene show, but she is clearly going in a more rock oriented direction, which I have wanted for years. If this one song is a sign of what's to come on the upcoming album, this album is going to be mind blowing. 
A tour announcement can't get hear soon enough. Hopefully she starts road testing a lot of new material like she did on the last tour before Kala's release.
While I want this to come out ASAP, on Twitter she said 7 songs were finished.
Take your time. 
If you're on the verge of changing your sound, don't rush it just to capitalize on your buzz.
She is known for leaking a few treasures for fans before she finishes albums, and I really hope she unloads a demo of this track very soon.
I know she's got some fans here and also some haters, but I recommend all check this out. Like I said, its a terrible boot of the song, but as GNR fans, we're used to that.
