I liked Livin On A Prayer. I liked Bon Jovi. They were massive and just listening to that album takes me back to sixth grade. It had a huge impact on our culture, and my life at the time.
Livin' On A Prayer is on New Jersey and not on SWW, I think.
Anyway, I've been voting for the albums I like the least. Others calculate with 'cultural significance', too. It's all right. CD's winning the 00s tournament showed how subjective this game is.
Livin On A Prayer is definitely on Slippery When Wet, unless I had a time machine in sixth grade.
Audioslave won the 2000s elimination.

Ouch, senility got me so early. I'd be happier if you had a time machine. That'd be cool.
I didn't even know that Audioslave won...

Master of Puppets didn't. Hell, I don't even think its their best album, and it sure as shit isn't one of the top 5 albums of that decade. Me choosing Puppets before Jovi shouldn't be that big of a shock.
You're acting like albums that suck make an impact and we're keeping the shit and voting off the good stuff.
It's the TOP 5 for crying out loud. Only this site and Metallica boards would expect Metallica to be top 5 all time in the 80s.
Now I get why. Again like I said your reasoning earlier of it's better than some but it's not as important so it can't be here logic was a tad confusing.
Anyway on with the show. Out of what's left I see Thriller winning it.

And Justice For All. For the same reason I voted of Puppets - I think all the remaining albums are better than it.
Re: Best Album of the 80s Elimination- Round 16
i accidentally voted for leppard.... shoulda went with bon jovi...
they're neck and neck for me anyway....
honestly... i think with the exception of guns, we all have different taste... we tend to take it as a personal insult when one of OUR fav records gets tossed in favor of sumpin we don't particularly care for....
i voted for kala early in the last elimination because i listened to it... once... and it wasn't my cup o' tea.... CC voted to squash one of MY favorite records of all time because it wasn't his (VDOP).... i really don't think anyone has a genuine hate for cornell or pantera or anything else... i just think certain music we "get" and other shit other people "get".....
