Re: 2009 Fantasy Football
I guess I didn't see this when it was posted, I just re-joined which I'm sure screws up the divisions or the schedule, so if it's a big problem I can drop out again. But otherwise, I'm in and determined to not be in the bottom 3 overall this year.
Re: 2009 Fantasy Football
We've got an even number of teams now, so that's good. Unfortunately the participation from HTGTH isn't quite as good as from here. We've got 6 from there, 8 from here. I guess we could do uneven divisions of 6 and 8. OR we could just take one member from here and throw them in the other division to even them out at 7 and 7. I don't think it really matters all that much. The winner of each division gets in the playoffs, then the next 4 teams with the best records regardless of division.
So what do you guys think, even things out at 7 and 7? Or have a HTGTH division of 6 and a GNRevo division of 8? (if that is, they allow me to do that) Unless I can get 2 more from HTGTH, but I wouldn't bet on that.

Re: 2009 Fantasy Football
I set the schedule for the league today and lowered the limit for teams in the league to 14, so registration should be closed. It didn't look like we'd get 2 more teams by Tuesday, so we're gonna have to settle for an HTGTH division of 6 and a GNRevo division of 8. Winner of each division gets a 1st round bye in the playoffs and the teams with the next 4 best records get into the playoffs regardless of which division they're in. Check out the shedules if you'd like. All HTGTH teams play each other twice and play 3 GNRevo teams. All GNRevo teams play each other once, some twice, and play either 2 or 3 HTGTH teams.
I also changed the waiver wire process so it's a little more fair and even across the board. ALL players on the Free Agent list will automatically be put on waivers once the games begin on Sunday through Tuesday and the teams with the worst records get first dibs if they want to pick any of those guys up. Just make sure you put your claim in by Monday night. This way, if some guy blows up for 4 TD's or Adrian Peterson gets hurt it's not gonna be the first guy to get on the internet who picks up the flavor of the day. Everyone gets a fair shot, starting with the teams with the worst records on up.
Hopefully I explained that well enough.
