Re: No Checkmate remains.
I think Uzi Suciede was closed in the 1990s, and that Black Frog is now GNR's publisher.
So why do they let him run around on YouTube dicking around?
Good question.
My guess would be that Axl's legal people either arn't aware of it or just have bigger issues dominating their time, and that youtube don't realise he isn't the legitimate copyright holder.
Also, him pulling leaks probably doesn't upset them too much, other than that it's not his stuff to pull. But it's not like he's uploading his own shit and calling it GNR or something. I dunno.
Either that or i'm wrong and it's somehow legit. Its just that we know it has a similar name to a defunct enterpise, which makes it sound fan made to me, and if it were a new publishing vechile, well i'm not up on USA law, but from my limited understanding, an LLC seems like a strange business structure for Axl to use for such a venture at his level.

I'll start the list, lets add on.
1. Dr. Pepper
2. Lars' release
3. Making sure the tab book never sees the light of day
4. Hiring/Firing Azoff
5. Finding a way to write off hardcore porno and chicken coops as business expenses
6. Settling with the IRS for hiring illegal housekeepers
Keep em coming.

Let's backtrack a little bit.
How can someone get into this dickheads position at YouTube?
How can he, if fake, get control of what's being published or not?

Good call.
If he is Axl/offical then i have no issue with it, it's their music to do what they want with, but if he is some kind of fan on a crusade then he needs to stop impersonating being offical and get back in his place.
This page explains the process needed to get youtube to pull a video. Does make it sound more likely he is legit. Unless he did it all on email and forged the details.
