Was eliminated in the last round.

While I am not really a Tool fan, I am surprised by its early departure. Like Pasnow said though, the votes are gonna be spread thin because the competition is so strong. There's no clear cut album on this list to eliminate for everyone to say, "THAT's the one!!".

Strongest elimination we've ever had(including the old site in that as well). Its getting 19-22 participants, yet this album loses with only 4 votes.

I know the Skid Row thing is stupid. Especially considering albums like Achtung Baby were left off in favor of it. I also think MJ's Dangerous should've gotten on there.

I like Skid Row actually, but i've never understood the fan fare around Slave. I actually liked their self-titled debut more.

As with last round, my vote again goes to STP's Core.

The shocking loss of Tool from this elimination has caused me to temporarily let Pantera stay and vote for less respectable albums, mainly Skid Row. STTG is a very strong metal record but isn't in the same league as the other contenders or Tool.

While this is a best single album elimination, the importance and influence of the group that made it is something I take into account, beyond just the 10-16 tracks on an album itself. Skid Row doesn't match up with the rest of these guys... neither does STP imo.
