Re: 100 Things Your Kids May Never Know About
hahah I remember most of these.
Terminals accessing the mainframe. They still do.
Turning a PlayStation on its end to try and get a game to load. Yup
Tweaking the volume setting on your tape deck to get a computer game to load, and waiting ages for it to actually do it. I could tell what game was loading by the sound it made....
Kentucky Fried Chicken, as opposed to KFC. Try and fit that on a bucket..

Swimming pools with diving boards.
I swam alot as a kid, oddly enough I used to swim against that pools team that was in controversy for no longer letting the camp back a few weeks ago (wayy overblown & misconcepted imho, it was a mistake from the beginning, but again you shouldn't go back on your deal with people either. But people who run those type pools are mostly somewhat volunteers. They don't get paid much). ANYWAY, I knew a kid who fell off the side of the hi-dive onto the concrete(It was about 10 feet high as opposed to a regular 3 footer). Busted his face up a little bit & I think broke an arm. His parents didn't sue I don't think (this was back around 84) but it was taken down if not immediately, probably by the next year. They then had 2 low dives I believe until this day, unless they've taken those down nowadays.
