Gonna pick Dookie even though I think its the worst of the list. Was a huge album and deserves to make the cut. Never liked the Foo Fighters, Temple is already represented by Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, and while I love Rust In Peace, there is plenty of metal already in the elimination.

Rust In Peace. Whilst I think it's a crime Dookie might not make it, RIP is a better album and needs to be on here.

i second that...
by rights, TOTD should make it based on "hunger strike" and "say hello to heaven" alone...
.. but rust in piece is a masterpiece of an album and needs to be in this.. even though it'll get bounced in the first round by something that'll piss me off

I'll go with Dookie too.  Temple of the Dog was solid, but it was a one off.  Green Day has obviously had much sustained success, and Dookie started it all.

I went with Foo. Monkeywrench & Everlong are great songs.

As a side note, James I think we really could do a Top 64 elimination with the nominations. It'd be a shame to not include Dookie, Foo Fighters, or Temple of the Dogs album. And who knows whatever else is excluded. Just a thought. I'd be willing to help organize the rankings, not trying to steal your thunder though.
