Very strange interview. Supposedly the Mom is truly sweet, but the Dad's a brutal ass. I like how at the 2:30 mark, they ask about the "hangers on and people using Michael", which was when the attorney gets on stage, which was after the publicist read a statement, yet prior to the record company partner spoke.

Michael Jackson: secret library of 100 songs
A secret library of over a hundred songs recorded by Michael Jackson could be released following his death.
One of the singer's biographers, Ian Halperin, claimed that the unheard songs had been made for his children.
Mr Halperin, author of Unmasked, The Michael Jackson Story, said before his death: “He wants to leave them for his kids, a very personal legacy to them. I was told he will not let them come out now.”
Jackson leaves three children: Prince, 12, Paris Katherine, 11, and Prince Michael II aged seven.
It is rumoured, given the parlous financial situation of his estate, that any such recordings will not be kept private for long. It is understood that Jackson may have gone to the grave under debts of about $400 million (£240 million) – though some believe the true figure may be much higher.
Sales of Michael Jackson’s music and memorabilia have already begun to soar. In America, the Thriller album is number one on iTunes, while his Number Ones album has now reached the top spot on the UK iTunes chart.
Online retailers Amazon say that Jackson’s albums had taken 14 of the top 20 places on the Amazon.co.uk sales chart. The Amazon chart was topped by his first solo album, Off The Wall, which features tracks such as "Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough" and "She’s Out Of My Life".
Already, Jackson’s death is beginning to producing a new industry. Outside the Los Angeles hospital where he was pronounced dead, a group of men appeared selling $10 T-shirts with a silhouette of Jackson and reading: “In loving memory of Michael Jackson.” Memorial T-shirts were also being sold at the Glastonbury music festival.
On eBay, bidding grew on a number of Jackson memorabilia items. Limited edition records, musical instruments used by the star and even a movie contract with his signature were being sold for thousands of pounds.
The Neverland ranch and Jackson’s final resting place, if made accessible to the public, could also become lucrative tourist attractions.
Graceland, the mansion owned by Elvis Presley and where he was buried, has become a much-visited landmark. Opening its doors to the paying members of the public is thought to have made the trust that operates Graceland in the region of $100 million.

I didn't even bother watching it. Out of respect for Michael's memory, i'm not going to give assholes like Joe Jackson ANY kind of attention or respect out of his son's death, which is EXACTLY what that prick wants.
Joe Jackson is a piece of scum that terrorized and destroyed Michael Jackson for years, and right now, he's drooling at the prospect of just getting a camera in front of his fat face, let alone money.

I watched this documentary earlier. Its another doozy. Actually, its better than Living With Michael Jackson. They talk to a long time friend, former manager, and a few people involved in the investigation of that first abuse case. There's several vomit inducing moments in this....
The "honeymoon" in Monaco with that boy
How easy his mother was bought off with a credit card on the trip
Tossing fan mail from girls aside so he could quickly get to what he wanted
The 'secret room' is also mentioned in this, and is also shown for a few seconds.

I may give that documentary a view later but it seems by the description to be quite slanted. At least "Living With Michael Jackson" was fair and balanced. Not really interested in a tabloid style, one sided documentary. That's like reading Slash's book and believing it to be 100% accurate or taking Axl's words as absolute truth.

Not to take this back into tabloid area, but I've had to study child molestors, and nearly every one of them that are caught have child porn in their possession. Their computers are loaded with it. It comes down to accessibility to it. And they almost always make their own porn with their victims. And when it comes down to it, they aren't going to do something because they're afraid it would send them to prison or bring attention to them... I mean, if we went by that logic, that they had that much control over their "urges", they would never molest anyone because of fear of prison. That's the whole point: they can't control themselves. Some are shrewder than others, in that they kill their victims afterwards so not to get caught. But the majority are all destined to get caught because they can't control themselves. Also, the suggestion that he didn't need child porn because of the availability of children to him is kind of... Wrong.
I would never try and debunk someone else's own personal research, but those stats are iffy at best. It is literally impossible for a majority of child molesters to have access to child pornography. Child pornography is way out on the fringe and is not easily available.
Also, most child molesters do not make their own child porn. I'd love to know where you read or heard that because its the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard regarding child abuse.
As far as urges go, you're more likely to do prison time being in possession of child porn than you are actually molesting a child. The tough laws in place regarding child porn are a huge deterrent to predators, which also plays a role in what will hopefully be its permanent spot on the outer fringes of society.
As far as availability goes, if you are a child molester with constant access to children, your need for visual stimulation in the form of pornography decreases. Its the same with normal people as well. If you're either hanging around with women or simply have a normal dating life, you're not sitting around searching google for porn.
There would literally be thousands of victims, and you'd have to figure at least one of those parents wouldn't be content with taking a check for someone raping their kid... That their kid was actually worth more than any amount of money... And the fact you'd be letting a monster molest other children... I'm not buying that.
So you're using the example of one of MJ's supposed victims and rubber stamping their reaction to all other cases?
Obviously most normal parents would not take hush money or any sort of bribery from a predator. These people aren't normal obviously, and I'm sure once the number got into the millions, cash registers in their minds started going cha ching.
There's a reason predators seek out victims from broken homes or dysfunctional families, and its not because they are looking for parents with excellent parenting skills.
Another reason I don't think he did anything is that the first kid, not the family of grifters, but the one most people think he did molest, his father got the kid to "remember" the abuse after pulling his tooth and having him under a sedative -- one which has been proven to make people vulnerable to coercion/suggestion. This was when he was caught on tape trying to extort Mj and actually admitting to not giving a shit about his son. Also, which is kind of important, the kid's description of Mj's genitals were wrong. Even though they tried to say there were similarities its widely believed that that's the reason no charges were ever pressed against Mj in that case... And the fact the boys mother said the father was lying.
The mother was a willing participant in this as well, so no need to try and separate them by various comments. She went on the trip with MJ and the boy, MJ handed her a credit card with virtually unlimited credit, and she headed off to Italy so MJ and her son could spend two days alone in a hotel room in Monaco.
Let's not act like she's Mother Teresa.
