No it's not. It's a fact, from the perception of Michael Jackson himself. I've just seen too many inteviews man. The man truely had the best intentions for children. He loved them. You could see it in his face.

What we don't know is if his love was psychologically twisted.

I used the phrase 'best intentions', because we all know what the road to hell is paved with.

The difficult part for me is that there is just too much conflicting information on both fronts for me to come to a conclusion either way.  It's clear that he loves children and does generous things for them--the Ryan White thing and the building of Neverland. Then there are those strange things like James mentioned--the room with the alarm.  The man himself admitted on tv that he still slept with children and felt nothing wrong with it.  There is compelling arguments on both sides and either point could be made.

It's probably just easier to blame it on that giant douchebag Joe Jackson.  I think its pretty sleazy that one of the first things he mentioned in that video posted in the other thread is that Michael's three children are living with him and Katherine and that Debroah Rowe (I presume) will have to deal with him through a lawyer.  I hope Janet Jackson gets as far away from him as possible since she's the only one with talent left in the family.

Let's be real, if a 50 year old man was living in any of our neighborhoods, and was the nearby "babysitter", but word got out he had a huge bed, and slept with the children on it, we'd all want a piece of him, and want him imprisoned, if not put to death. So let's be real, Michael was far from innocent in all this. Just because he's Michael doesn't make it ok. Myb we'd all rush to judgement, and unfairly judge that local 50 yr old man, myb he had similar harmless intentions, but it'd be creepy. So he was a sicko, just myb not a child molestor. I agree in his twisted mind he thought what he was doing was ok, and on some level it may have been, but on other levels it was some form of twisted.

She gave a pretty decent statement I saw yesterday. It didn't seem fabricated or written either, but she said we all lost a star, and great musician but understand, she lost her brother. Makes you think, has to be sad for them, to realize they'll never speak to their brother again.

With all due respect to MJ death, I seriously doubt he's going to come back to the billboard charts with past cds or lps. The only thing that may happen is if he was working on any new material and is unfinished, maybe they will release that in some type of cd which of course would hit the number one spot for a few weeks or so. : )

With all due respect did you read the article Rustcb posted at the top of this page??   3 of Mike's albums already sold over 100,000 units each since his death. 100,000 is big nowadays, and possibly could take the #1 spot since no other big releases came out.  If he overtakes the Top 3 spots that will be epic.

Uhh what?!

He's at the top of the itunes charts just now. Loads of brick and mortar stores sold out of all their MJ stock. In death he is huge again.

I bought the Ultimate Collection because I didn't own that much of Michael's stuff even though I always intended to grab some.  It's a very solid list of material.  I'm really looking forward to hearing the original version (different lyrics) of We Are The World.

He's already did it!  His sales are actually TOPPING the sales of John Lennon and Elvis Presley following their respective untimely passings.  That's very surprising to me.
