My absolute favorite. She should have been huge, either in Elastica or solo. Just oozed sex appeal and could write catchy songs. The band imploded over drugs, and after The Menace faded into obscurity. All she needed was one more hit but the hit never came.

I always liked Chrissy Hynde of the Pretenders. The chick from Garbage was hot, same with a band The Cardigans, she was a smoking hot Sweedish blonde or something. Of course, Natalie Imbruglia.
Musically talented, I liked Julianna Hatfield. The chicks from Frente, The Cranberries, and The Sundays all had beautiful voices, though they maybe weren't jerk-off hot.

Not typical rock, but....
Should have exploded on the scene with Natural Ingredients. A breath of fresh air at the time. In the aftermath of grunge, it was hard for any specific movement to take shape. A 'girl rock' explosion(Liz Phair, Elastica, Veruca Salt, Luscious Jackson,etc.) was basically begging to happen, but there was simply too much going on musically at the time.
