He's had so many great roles, from Edward Scissorhands to Ichabod Crane. From Ed Wood to Captain Jack Sparrow. My favorite is Raoul Duke in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Johnny playing biographies of certain men is always my favorite.
My favorite was Johnny's portrayal of George Jung in Blow.
Something tells me John Dillinger will surpass it. Love Johnny, Love Michael Mann... seems like a perfect match.

Yeah, Blow is great. Depressing but great. It's one of those movies that feels like two movies: his rise and then his fall. If you don't want to be depressed, it's best to just turn it off after around an hour into it.

Anybody seen Ninth gate? I've read the book the movie based on and avoided this film because I've read some bad reviews and I'm pretty sure they focused on the wrong plotline. I tried watching it on tv once and it was confusing too.
