that stone temple pilots/our lady peace show i'm going to in Sarnia, Ontario is sans ticketmaster....$5 service charge...and another $9 if we want the tickets mailed, on top of $29.95 tickets...
the service sharges are stupid but i told them i wanted to pick them up at the gate so $5 a peice wasnt bad i thought to process the order...cuz you have to buy them on the phone for that show....

The big bands need to find a way to stop this shit. Possibly the really huge ones should start up a ticket thing of their own. I don't know how feasible that is but with all the money these rockstars have they could easily create and back their own ticket company. Or they maybe couldn't... I don't know how much of a pipe dream this is but if the biggest bands today were to start their own thing where the tickets were sold to the fans, for the fans and the whole experiences was about the fans it would be fantastic. Something like that is what is needed.

My favorite charge out of all of their bs charges is the one where they have the nerve to charge you for printing your own damn tickets!
The whole thing is bullshit. I've found it cheaper now to just go down to the local Ticketmaster Office (here Ticket Scotland), queue up and pay. This way I at least don't get charged for bullshit like priniting and the ink on the ticket. I'm pretty sure most of these service charges pays to employ a thinktank of people who think up more bullshit charges. They probably have a company division for this crap.

Just bought Tickets the other day for a baseball game from Ticketmaster...
Not only did I get a Convience Charge (which is enormous, and i'm used to), but they also charged an Order Processing fee. Now granted, it was only $3 bucks, but it's the point.
You're already charging me $10 extra dollars for 'convience', and are STILL gonna squeeze me for just a couple drops more with a stupid order processing fee.
I hope everyone in the main office that runs Ticketmaster are apart of Jigsaw's next "game". GOD, I fucking hate them.
