TIFWIW, I was talking to Playboy Playmate Miss April 2006, Holley Ann Dorrough, and she is also a singer in a local lrock coverband called "Rock n' Roll Centerfold". She dates the guitar player. The singer from her boyfriend's other band actually tried out for VR. Anyway, she says Lambert is the new singer and that they are going to tour with Kiss and that at the end of the Kiss set Lambert will join them on stage. Again, take it for what its worth, I just thought it was cool I was talking GNR and VR with a Playmate. GNR is her favorite band ever. And she is smoking hot. She says it will all come out, but I actually think she may be thinking for Slash's solo album. I can really see him on that. I have a hard time seeing him in VR.

Take it with a grain of salt.
VR have absolutely nothing to promote, no album in sight, and nothing to do. Lambert is BIGGER than Velvet Revolver. No way he joins them, when he could just go solo. The only reason he'd choose Queen, is the fact Queen can always tour as a nostagia act, and it's a steady paycheck, unlike VR. Also remember, Lambert is under contract with AI's people, and HAS to participate in that AI Tour.
I remember Holley, she's probably just a big GN'R/VR fan that hangs around these boards picking up rumors, just like the rest of us.

given the choice of VR and Queen i think we know which direction he'd go...Lambert is way to theatrical for VR anyway IMHO
