Yeah no contest on this one for me. I still remember when I first saw T2 at the movies when it came out. I was blown away!!!!! At the time for me the special effects, story, action etc was fucken awesome.
The only downside is that seemed to be one of the first films that really started the whole special effects thing (well for me anyhow) but now when I see all the computerised stuff, it's kinda "hmm well..."
Re: GnREvolution Movie Madness - Round 2, Battle 7
Fight Club.
T2 is a great action film. Probably one of the best. However, its just an action film designed to get you into the theater and eat popcorn. Fight Club actually has a story to tell and makes you think. It also has three of the best actors from the 90s. T2 does not.
Still amazes me how Carter squandered most of her career on shit films.

Fight Club. I agree James, when it first came out I thought it was going to be some Jean Claude Van Damme type flick. Just people fighting & watching. Then someone saw it & told me it's not, it's on so many different levels & is pshychological. I saw it, and it blew me away. They're close, but I'd have to go with Fight Club. It's the Cool Hand Luke of our generation.
