Re: Riad N' The Bedouins
Its hard to believe that this is a Tommy/Axl creation, and I guess Josh Freese had a large hand in it as well since he layed down the original drums.
But Buckethead and Brain fucking own this song, its really hard to imagine what the pre-Bucket era version must have sounded like.
I suppose it might have been something like the style of Oh My God, but I find it hard to envision the song without senior Bucket.
Re: Riad N' The Bedouins
Killer song, and the demo is one of the highlights of the CD era. Even though Tommy wrote it, it clearly has tons of Bucket and Brain influence. While Tommy and Bucket apparently didn't like each other, I wouldn't be surprised if the two worked together to put this track together.
Next time Tommy does a solo album, he should cast any animosity aside and ask Bucket to contribute to a track or two. Lots of potential with those guys.
Re: Riad N' The Bedouins
Josh Freese wrote the drum parts, so the origins are Pre-Buckethead.

It doesn't matter when it originated. He's all over that track. Or do we just assume that what is essentially a Praxis track was created with little input from Bucket?
