That does sound pretty cool, I've never heard of anyone doing that before.
I wonder what the score is with this apparent new artwork.
Perhaps the Best Buy deal was only for 6 months after all, and this new artwork will be be released when the album is made available to other stores in the US in the next month or so.
Say the Best Buy deal did last 6 months, that doesnt mean as soon as the clock strikes midnight on the sixth month that the album would be in other stores. Mabye they are planning to release another single with a video along with the updated album and get some publicity all at the same time.

Unless the album magically gets better I don't see how it's going to be helped by any of this. It's cool for the hardcores but I still don't expect any sort of sales push for the album.

In other words, the market is being flooded with a rerelease that has different artwork but no actual bonus content.
I'll pass....
This band isn't very good at the double dip game.
Buzz, you may be in luck. If the Best Buy exclusive is near its end, they are gonna be forced into having a clearance sale to unload those beer coasters.

That cover could have easily been faked. The pic is from ebay.
Only interesting thing in this current mess is that new artwork on the liner notes. If its legit, it means there is a rerelease floating around out there, or there will be soon.
Also, if nothing but changed artwork is in the can, it means the album is dead. No way in hell can they pull off a triple dip. If bonus content was ever coming, it was coming in the rerelease.
