Has slipknot disbanded?

I know it's worth a wait...but i'm starting to wonder if they'll ever find someone.

If they are, it's new, and upcoming.

Slipknot is supposed to headline Download Festival tomorrow.

Are you implying Corey Taylor as the new VR frontman?
I think that would be eventual.

He would be involved in three bands then though lol

He joined Duff on Its So Easy at Download yesterday.  I`d like to see a vid of it, of it all really.
There really is no rush to find a singer, as side projects are taking priority now.  Its only Sorum who is itching to find someone as he isnt doing fuck all right now.  I wouldnt mind in the slightest if Duff wanted to carry on with Loaded.  I know thats not gonna happen cuz VR is his bread and butter.

I know people are going to groan when I post this, but whatever.

I've believed for the longest time VR is dead, and ain't coming back.

I think Slash & Duff have put those feelers out there for Axl, they are waiting for a reunion for "the next big band" gig they do.

Other than that, I think they are perfectly content being solo artists and watching their kids grow up, and waiting for "the call" at this point. They've had their 'prime', and they know it.

I think VR is over as well. They're just gonna dangle the carrot because they may need that snack at some point in the future.

2009 is already booked. So is 2010.

I just got in my time machine, and no one cares about VR in 2011. It was simply a supergroup that had a good run.

Exactly. The day Scott walked out the door it was all over.

Problem for Matt is, he doesn't have VR coming up, he doesn't have GN'R, The Cult moved on years ago...

The man doesn't have a job, and there are no openings by default. 16

He's my choice too

See?

When buzzsaw and I agree on something related to GN'R you should know that there's no reason to argue and just agree with us.

We're simply right. Adam Lambert in 2009!

given the choice of VR and Queen i think we know which direction he'd go...Lambert is way to theatrical for VR anyway IMHO

I think he's perfect for Queen actually, but I'd still take him in VR.  At the end of the day, I don't think either will happen though.  Not long term at least.
