Slash confirmed that Slipkont singer Corey Talyor was close to getting the job.

Corey Taylor of Slipknot recently joined Duff's band Loaded on tour in America. There was a rumor that Corey would be the next VR singer. We checked that with SLASH, and he said it looked like it for a minute, but they had decided against it.
