I think both of their albums are good, but the Union (John Corabi from Motley Crue and Bruce Kulick from Kiss) album "The Blue Room" is great.

I love the line "I'm Jack n' Coke and Candy Bars, you're Champagne and Caviar"

There's this new yourk band called Fixer that sounds like GN'R mixed with Skid Row. Give em a listen on their myspace and I'll upload their CD if ya want.

Faster Pussycat was interesting, don't know how well it holds up.

Bang Tango, Saigon Kick, Shotgun Messiah (2nd coming album ONLY)

I think Faster Pussycat holds up well, at least the hits. Songs like Cathouse & Bathroom Wall are sleaze at it's best, and I still think songs like Nonstop To Nowhere, House of Pain and their cover of You're So Vain are flat out great.

Hey whats the deal with LA Guns, isn't that one of those bands where there's like 2 or 3 versions now? Which should I look for to get the sleaze sound...or are they both that way?

Go download the Cocked and Loaded album. That's really all you need, although the first album isn't too shabby.

Tesla, Faster Pussycat, and LA Guns are good choices.

I could be wrong, but I don't think either of the split versions has put out any cds.  It more touring based on the name and 2 hits from 20 years ago.

To be safe, just be sure to not buy any cds from the last few years.

LA Guns has been putting out CDs continuously, even without Tracii. Phil Lewis the singer and drummer Steve Riley are what's left at last count.

As James said, Cocked and Loaded is good to get, but my favorites are Hollywood Vampires and Vicious Circle. Waking The Dead was really one of their best top to bottom, and it came out in like 2001 or something like that.

If you're just a downloading mofo, get the whole discography minus American Hardcore.

Thanks for all the info guys.

I went into my local CD store..and it turns out that unlike in my mind its not 1987 in there and I had trouble getting much of this stuff!!

I managed to pick up a self titled CD from faster pussycat, as well as "the very best of LA guns", and also an album from LA guns called "Cocked and Re-loaded" which seems to be some kind of bizzare AFD-rerecord style deal!!

that's all i could find so far, so i might have to turn download motherfucker to get all the stuff you've all mentioned!
