Re: What are ticket prices like everywhere?

GNR tickets in 06 over here were about £40, I'd probably pay up to double to see a reunited GNR though. That's the only act I'd do it for as well, I can't think of another artist I'd pay £40 for again to be honest.

I think i paid $95 a peice for tickets to GnR for the 2006-07 tour...that was the most i've ever shelled out and i will never pay that much again for a concert

That was right at what I paid too for Guns in 2006, Neemo. $95 a seat, plus the enormous "convience charge" from Ticketmaster. Yay! roll

The most expensive tickets here are around 1160 dollars.

Are you people talking pesos or something?? Is there a big currency difference? hmm   I can see idiots paying out the ass for Britney or Hannah Montana for their daughters, or an intimate show (small Vegas lounge). But a Grand??  I'm not sure the Stones or Bruce get that?!

I wouldn't pay $1750 for GN'R in 1987.

I'd pay about up to $300/$350 for great seats of a reunited GnR lineup. That'd be about my max.  and that's using a scalper, in case I couldn't get them.

A reunited Guns, i'd be willing to go $150 for a seat, maybe $200 if they were really good seats. But no more than that. Boots or watching it on DVD would be fine, if it were higher than that.

As for Britney, I wouldn't go across the street if it were free. And if sex was involved, she'd have to pay me. 16

I paid hundreds for M.I.A., tickets through those scalping sites when the actual real ticket price was like $22.50. Will never do that again, but I had to go. I actually maxed out my credit card on that show and trip to Frisco.

I want to go see her in Frisco in August, but the Festival is only selling tickets for all 3 days, and they're hundreds a ticket, and thats before scalpers touch them. I don't have the money for that now and even if I did, I wouldn't spend it on that.

I'm hoping someone throws a ticket for it up on Craigslist at the last minute for dirt cheap.

Ticket prices seem to average around 80 bucks here, but obviously go higher.

You would have paid $10. wink

Hell, that amazing UYI tour in mid 91 only costed 18 bucks.
