Why couldn't Axl handle "If The World"? I think that'd be a breeze for him. Heck, I can almost handle that song. Alright, maybe that's a stretch. I don't think he'd have a problem with it live though.

THIS Guns N' Roses is only responsible for about 60% of ChiDem anyways. Not to mention the album was promoted about as much as Spaghetti Incident was.

Actually I think Spaghetti was promoted more..lol...but all things considered....I think this tour is the obvious time to have heavy rotation of CD songs in the set list...obviously the public will also want some classic hits...but a tour showcasing the new material makes sence.

I'll work out my dreamset list when i get home smile

Yeah, but in my mind, I highly question how many casuals are going to these things anymore anyways.

The diehards are the ones still supporting GN'R, and those same exact people probably bought, and liked CD.

Cut WAY back on Appetite, throw in a ton of Illusion, with some spicing of Chinese... and you'll please both casuals & diehards.

They've just got to get off this damn Appetite kick.

I think one of the cool things about a newGNR show is the new guys take on the old material. Now that CD is out there's no excuse to play 90% old stuff, but it would suck not hearing Nightrain, SCOM or even My Michelle.

The highlight of a 2002 show was Buckethead's Nightrain solo.

And this isn't for nostalgia purposes, I just really dig the new bands versions of these songs. Especially NR, Jungle, Patience and Knockin.
