TMZ has obtained photographic evidence that Tupac Shakur is alive and well and drinking Hand Grenades in New Orleans -- unless we're terribly mistaken.

13 years after he was shot and "killed" in Las Vegas ... a man appearing to be 2pac was spotted in a bar on Bourbon Street last weekend.

We were unable to get any sort of DNA evidence -- but this photo is good enough for us.

Thug life, bitches.

It's stupid.  He's more famous dead than he ever would have been had he stayed alive.  He died at the right time to be a legend.  a couple years later and it would have been a footnote.

I notice their poll doesn't give any room for middle ground, just "Yes" and "Definitely".

I'm sold tongue.

I think he's alive.  Every couple years you see a new Tupac record with new stuff.  I mean come on!  How many songs can one have in the vault?

Now THAT is a good point. Back in the late-90's/early-2000's, I used to defend that, by saying he just recorded a bunch of shit, and it was sitting in a vault.

But now? I mean come on, you're telling me this dude had a billion albums worth of material just waiting for release.

I've always wondered if they had a secretive 'tribute' or copycat sounding artist to record it shadow, under the name Tupac, and released as such. At this point that's the only logical thing. Nobody's got that much material sitting around, even Axl.
