I just realised that Megadeth were horribly represented by the two songs they got into this thing. I reckon Peace Sells would have stood a far better chance, that or Symphony.

Come on Who fans! Get over and vote for "Wont Get Fooled Again"! "Under The Bridge" is a good song, but c'mon! In the words of Roger Daltrey, "YYEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"

Yeah I can't believe RHCP won that.

I really think some of these older artists are losing their grasp on modern audiences. I mean think about, GN'R is what was "in" 20 years ago. Who songs are oldies to the kids.

But I voted for The Who proudly.

"Wont Get Fooled Again" isnt just one of the Who's best songs, its one of rock's best songs ever. Roger's scream in that sends chills down my spine.

Couple of interesting matchups today...

"Estranged" vs. "Home Sweet Home": Here are two songs that are similar in many ways. Both very good songs, and have killer solos. Unfortunately for the Crue, they are facing the monster that is "Estranged".

"Stairway to Heaven" vs. "Highway to Hell": Two totally different songs, yet two songs that are universally loved in the rock community. This one is a tough one and will come down to the wire.

I love this tournament thing. Good job Neemo!

thanks, I'm glad you are enjoying it big_smile

as for motley crue...they get an unfair rap on gnr sites cuz of the axl/vince feud...but i've always thought they were pretty damn cool...and HSH is a great song..better than the outcome suggests

Good tunes are good tunes, regardless of frontmen feuds. Love the Crue too, but HSH got a bad draw in this round!!! 16

The Crue's issue has always been bad albums. They're a great song band. But other than one or two good songs on each album... they're albums are a bit filler.

Feelgood I think is the only exception, where it's a solid album.
