*Songs are not from same recording as the original Live Era as a true live recording has yet to surface for those songs.
^Patience was pieced together from those 2 live recordings, using Nero WaveEditor, as the original Live Era seems to have been done.
Besides 'Patience' not other tracks were edited. The only "editting" done was to remove excess crowd noise at the end or begining of songs. Thus the tracks do not flow together and the noise levels may differ from song to song.
***This is an upgrade to the previously released, lossy, version
Re: Live Era - Unmastered [FLAC]
Awesome. Will be worth the download just for Dust N Bones, which is the only real highlight of this set in my opinion.
Was way too much Tokyo on these discs for my taste. Vastly overrated show, and its mind boggling that its the only show they released back then.
Another weakness of Live Era was way too much 92-93 performances.

It depends on what Guns N' Roses you were trying to capture. Obviously at that point, especially in Axl's mind, he might've preferred the AFD lineup, but he respected the UYI presentation. The bigger than life Guns.
That was what they wanted to present, and for that, they did it right. Keep in mind, not good quality DAT's exist for alot of the AFD-era shows.
I do agree that Tokyo '92 shouldn't have been anywhere on this. They released the video of the show, and it was an average show to begin with, and that's enough. They should've went for something fresh with the live audio release.
What they should've done was dropped a massive 3-disc set that was a soundboard, remastered, collection of that massive Inglewood [4th night] show, that lasted forever.
