Re: KFC gambling on chicken that is grilled, not fried
"bacon tastes good, porkchops taste goood"
"yeah well sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie but i'd never know cuz i wouldnt eat the filthy motherfucker"
I gotta have meat, i like a well rounded diet...and tofu scares me
Re: KFC gambling on chicken that is grilled, not fried
Love me some Pulp Fiction.
Tofu is basically like a softer potatoe. Potatoes don't have much of a taste but they absorb all the flavors of stuff they are cooked with. Or you have to pile on sour cream and cheese to get it down. When's the last time you had a potatoe by itself with no toppings or not cooked with something else. Same with tofu. You have to cook it in other stuff

I'll try it. Love KFC, any day, any era. Great food, but fatty as hell. I stopped eating their eons ago.
I'll come back if this Grilled stuff is good, low enough in fat, and not too high. KFC right now is at the ceiling, if not over it, with the pricing on their food. They can't go any higher in my book.
It's amazing. The cheapest food in the world to make is a chicken dinner, and KFC is probably the most expensive fast food chain. You can get more food at Pizza Hut, and cheaper.

I am a fried chicken-aholic. KFC is pretty good, though not nearly as good as my grandmas! Good country cooking.
Anyway, with the health nuts out there, and the kooks who are suing McDonald's and others for "unhealthy" foods, you knew they would do this. And I have no problem with it, love grilled chicken too.

I ate at KFC a couple of times when I was in Japan and I must say that I thought that it was delicious.

You were in Japan and ate KFC?
Did they have weird stuff on the menu? I know that they have weird regional items on the menu sometimes.

Well, I was there for three weeks and since they don't have it where I live I thought that I'd might as well try it...
They didn't have anything "weird" from what I can tell but they did have a charcoal grilled chicken sandwich that was delicious and a few other things smothered in teriyaki sauce.
