Agreed. The rapping is pretty good, and even the video is a bit funny, but that chorus throws it all off.

The chorus is god awful.

The chorus is pretty bad.  But Eminem does good.  I look forward to hearing a serious song off of his album.

Eh, not a fan of this song at all. It'll probably still be a moderate hit. I like some of his stuff, but he's gotta watch it with the celebrity bashing. It's getting tired & with the similar videos he's basically becoming a caricature of himself. He's been doing this since Fred Durst was around. Even the younger generation who now may be 22 or so, will associate this to when they were 12.  It's bordering on Wierd Al Yankovic.

My guess is this was the "labels song" where he turned in a more serious album & they label said "There's no hits. We want My Name Is or The Real Slim Shady". So they asked him to go back to write what they felt is a radio hit. (Similar things happened with Def Lep 'Pour Some Sugar on Me' & others)

Yeah, but in a way he's double-screwed imo Snow. Alot has changed in terms of what is entertaining, or reflective.

The whole parody shit is beyond old. It was funny the first couple of times.

But I don't think his ideas for serious songs are very modern either. Stan was really damn good, but stuff Like Toy Soldiers were good songs, but the videos were fuckin' lame. I'm sorry but 'rappers are soliders on the front line' shit has been beat the fuckin' death. I'm SOOO sick of it. The media is my enemy schtick is also old.

They're nothing but a bunch of rich pussies who are badass legends in their own mind. Kind of like rock singers that bite security guards on the leg.

I'm interested to see a totally unique and fresh vid from Em.

He makes fun of himself in the song and video as well.  It's making fun of all celebs, including himself.

Music videos in general now are stale and rarely fresh.  This one is no different.

They may be rich now, but there was a time when they didn't have shit in life.  They have every right to sing/rap about that.  Unfortunately, there are plenty of people out there who grew up with a silver spoon in their mouth but try to pull the same shit.  Eminem is one who actually had it hard in life.  I think it's unfair to discredit him for rapping about it just because a bunch of fakers decided they wanted to in an attempt to get street cred.  Eminem has street cred.  He's one of those who have a right to rap about it.
