What the hell is Marilyn Manson up to, you ask?

"My new record is done, man," he tells the S.S. "It's called The High End of Low - it's a self-described state of being that I'm in. You're going to be fucking freaked. It's the shit."

Manson is currently in the mixing process - no word yet on a release date - and this month he'll shoot the album's first video, for the tune "I Want to Kill You Like They Do in the Movies." "It's nine minutes long," he says. "Severely sadist. Basically, it's murder, sex, death, the end."

While we're in Los Angeles for the Grammy's, we'll drop by Manson's pad and get the full scoop.

There ya go.

What happened between Manson and the original Keyboardist? Thought those 2 were buddys?

This is one guy who's career has spanned the length of Axls absence, 8 albums released or something, and they are all pretty good, got to respect the mans creativity and productivity.

Kinda great line-up for a Manson album. I hope for some 'agressive electronica with full guitars', lol.

Well it's much better than Eat Me, Drink Me. The music is pretty strong, but I'm just kind of bored of Manson's thing - he's not a good vocalist, his lyrics basically say 'fuck' a lot to be dark, he whispers or screams... it was cool for a while, but it seems disposable.

And I know, I'm a hypocrite and a Reznor fan.

Never was much of a Marilyn Manson fan. If I created a greatest hits disc, it would simply be the Dope Show single. I never bought into this clown's act. He's nothing more than an attention whore who had very few ideas in the first place. He's always needed bullshit controversy to propel his career.

High End of Low? Marilyn, you been listening to something called Down on the Upside?

Fuck off.

Seriously, I was getting a little excited by the thread title.  It sounded like it could be some Soundgarden stuff going on (or members projects etc), instead it's Manson. 16

On Armageddon, does anyone else hear the Cruisin' USA theme music (N64) with a little bit of White Wedding thrown in?  That's what I'm hearing
