Perhaps, but it's definitely a different country.
Florida is like a country who took every Spanish/Hispanic culture in history, threw them in one state, and threw in reddest of necks (white trash), and a bunch of old geezers 15 years past their 'live by' date.
Welcome to the Sunshine State! Where the Puerto Ricans hate the Mexicans, the Cubans hate them both, old people hate blacks, and the whites hate them all!
Wow.
Thats about how I would summ it up.
Guessing your a Floridian too?

Apologize if any thread like this have been around before. Couldn't be bothered to look very close!
Where have you been on holiday, business trips, or general travel through the years? Anything you recommend? Dislike, like?
Adult-aged, I've been to Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and a few others of those south-east States. If only briefly in most of them except Texas where I spent 3 weeks. Couldn't say it was superb. Great assortment of fast food restaurants and flat landscapes. Not my deal, but still interesting enough.
Been to England 5 times in 5 years. London several times, Cambridge (great historic town), Hastings by the coast. Loved the old town of Hastings.
Prague in Czech Republic is great as well...amazing old city area there. Amazing beer, superb prices, annoying language.
Helsinki, Finland. Sort of like east meets west. Everyone speaks great English. Very nordic. Pretty expensive. Was there for a few days once.
Israel, been there like 8 times since 2007. Never though I would go, but since my wife is Israeli it was necessary! Too hot, too crowded, horrible architecture and nasty traffic, but also got some great historic spots. No tourism anymore which makes you as a tourist special. Great food except for their annoying kosher stuff. Avoid at all costs. Amazingly high degree of educated people and swell English speakers too.
