After kidnapping and brutally assaulting two young women, a gang led by a prison escapee unknowingly finds refuge at a vacation home belonging the parents of one of the victims -- a mother and father who devise an increasingly gruesome series of revenge tactics.

Yeah I was thinking of watching this. I don't usually get into Horror films much myself but this one sparked my interest. Anybody here watched it yet?
Is it a remake of an old film?
Yeah, its a remake of a very overrated film. 
I downloaded this a few days ago. Maybe I'll watch it tonight.

This movie is terrible. Just watched it. 0/5 stars. They didn't even try and be creative. Its simply a lukewarm rehash of the original, which wasn't a good film in the first place.
What sucks about this is Last House on the Left is one of those films that did need a remake, yet this is what they do with it.
Its times like this when you wish the remake trend would just hurry and die.
Sarah Paxton is the only highlight, although not a ton of screen time.
