if ihad to pick i'd prolly pick the beatles but i really dont have any allegience to one over the other

The thing about The Beatles is that it's basically 2 bands.  Early Beatles and late Beatles are completely different, and there are a lot of people who love one era and can't stand the other.

I never really cared for the Stones much. I have grown to appreciate some of their hits over the years, but that's about as far as it goes. I wasn't really into the albums of theirs that I heard.  The Beatles were the first band that I really loved and got me obsessed with rock music so they will always hold a special place in my heart.

Totally agreed. It's not even a contest imo. I like The Beatles, but The Stones are definitive imo.

You never see "Stones" albums listed in greatest of all time lists.

Other than, Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers...
