M.I.A. to perform at Coachella

Considering the fact she was the big story at Coachella last year and the crowd was almost trampled to death when people rushed that stage, she should be headlining. She's more popular now than she was then.

Wish I could go to this, but I'm not driving 500 miles for what will likely be a condensed set. Hopefully this isn't just a "one off" and will simply be the start of a very long tour.

They're fucking idiots if she isn't the headliner for that night. Thievery Corporation was the headliner at the Treasure Island festival in 2007. Everyone left after M.I.A. walked offstage.

Buraka Som Sistema are performing the day before this, so she will probably join them onstage for Sound of Kudoro. Fuck I wish I lived in southern Cali.
