That's America's wang.
Perhaps, but it's definitely a different country.
Florida is like a country who took every Spanish/Hispanic culture in history, threw them in one state, and threw in reddest of necks (white trash), and a bunch of old geezers 15 years past their 'live by' date.
Welcome to the Sunshine State! Where the Puerto Ricans hate the Mexicans, the Cubans hate them both, old people hate blacks, and the whites hate them all!

Re: Other Countries You've Been To
You're lucky APE living where you do, so many countries are only a short duration flight away from you, plus you guys seem to get some REALLY cheap fares!!!
I remember when I was in London seeing adverts for 99pence fares to fly to Venice etc. I know they probably slug you with taxes and extra luggage costs for anything weighing more than 5KG, but it's still bloody cheap. It means you could feasibly fly to another country for a long weekend and not loose too much time flying or too much $$'s in getting there.
Living in Oz, particularly in Western Australia it takes sooo long just to fly out of the state, let alone to another country and the cost is sooo prohibitive too.

Re: Other Countries You've Been To
Yeah those 99p flights usually end up being about 45 pounds, but still it's pretty good. Hoping to add Portugal to my list this summer.
It's funny you say that though aussie, there are some awesome places in europe I still want to see but the places I'd really love to go are oz and america which unfortunately aren't close at all.
Re: Other Countries You've Been To
That's actually something I've been wondering. I'm looking into going to the States for a 2 week vacation somewhere this year and I'd really like to show my gf New York (she's never been there).
But I would also love to see some of the east coast (LA, SF, maybe some national parks) so I was thinking about doing a 4 or 5 day sting in NY and then flying to LA or something like that.
Any of you Americans an idea if that's "economically feasible" ?
