Agree with Bono. Like I said, he's harmless. Who would you rather have a beer with? Axl, who you'd be afraid of pissing off, or Bret, who lives in the real world and wouldn't bore you to tears with stories of Stephanie love and Slash hate.
Actually, as time has gone on, Axl has proved to be the biggest douchestar on the planet. Bret, not so much. At least Bret isn't afraid to fail--or succeed for that matter.

That's rich. Who and what premise is this site based upon? At least Bret comes off as a decent guy. I read too often people bitch about people ragging on Axl cause we don't know him so we have no right yet there are obvious reasons why Axl is labeled a douch by many, most of whic have nothing to do wth persnal music tastes. Just my own opinion. Bret is as fake as they come. Him selling out to all that VH1 reality bullshit has told me that. I've seen him on that show, looking for love, for what is this? His third season? 
I don't give a shit if he has millions of fans or not. Anyone can come off as a decent guy and be the biggest liar and hypocrite off the camera. Do I know that Bret is one? No. I don't really care. I'm just going by what I see in his "reality" show. And who said I didn't like Poison? They have a few good tunes. That being said, I'm not making this personal Bono. You're a cool guy and I have no desire to offend you.

An amazingly accurate post. I tried to convey this awhile back when people jumped on the 'fuck Bret' wagon, and in reality it would be new Guns opening for Poison, if the time ever came.
I respect Axl's opinion on not selling out to reality TV, and that's cool. But at the same time, I respect Bret's got do it his way, get paid, and stay active, which is also perfectly cool.
At least Bret is still running his show, and imo that's respectable.
Not douche'in out like Sebastian Bach (you know, Axl's good buddy), who whores out to "Gone Country 2" sharing the spotlight with such amazing legends as Sean Young and Lorenzo Lamas. 
I don't get this lame ass glam vs. hard war. Poison have something they do very well, and that's commendable.

nah it's cool Rex. I'm just saying I can't help but roll my eyes when I read those kinds of comments when our site we hang out at is "dedicated" to an Axl Rose fronted project. It's just comes off really ..... I don't know weak I guess. I mean anyone could've said that and my reaction would've been the same. So yeah man nothing personal from my side either just my general reaction to coments like that. Bono himself could've said that I'd I'd roll my eyes 
I guess I just dont understand a distain for a harmles guy like Bret Michaels who seems to genuinley care about his fans and loves what he does. Like Bigbri said I'd way rather kick it with Bret than Axl.
