I posted it over at HTGTH but if they do just a few and put it like Giants Stadium, u could fill that, cause so many cities are within distance, u could feel something out in LA maybe, Maybe Gillette in Boston
Cause true they had 5 to 8k per city, but u put it in a city and make it a big event, u get interstate attendees that u normally don't get at regular arena shows, and u could do it.
What are AEROSMITH doing this summer BTW?
Also, this would really have to be handled 100 percent great by Axl to even have a chance.

What makes it even worse is they'll be competing with a U2 stadium tour, which is guaranteed success. In a shitty economy, people pick and choose their entertainment.
Like I said though, for this to even have a chance they are gonna have to start acting like they have a new album out. If they are unable to deal with the existence of Chinese Democracy, then they shouldn't even bother.
This will not be successful if its marketed as AFD nostalgia again. Do a club or ampitheater tour if concentration will be on the past.

The Slash thing is a cover if a stadium tour is in the works.
Even a reunited Guns, would need a Metallica, to do a stadium tour imo.
Reunited GNR would work. I agree with your other comments, no way in hell can they do a stadium tour of more than 7 cities tops. The promo with the ORIGINAL badboys from Hollywood would fucking own. Is this just Axl thinking he is something he is not again?
