It's getting harder and harder. Last round, poll politics forced my hand against an entry I otherwise always enjoyed. No more foreplay. Favorites are going to start getting the boot. Also, it's fitting that the last Kane Hodder entry left standing is John Carl Buechler's defining vision of Zombie Jason.

I love that one, and it was the first that I REALLY got into, but looking back I don't think it quite stands up to the others.

I have to vote for that horrific remake now until its gone. Those of you that haven't watched it yet should go to the theater this week or just grab it from a torrent. It doesn't deserve to continually move up in these rounds just because everyone hasn't watched it yet.
Once that remake is flushed, the real franchise elimination starts(too bad VIII couldn't have survived one or two more rounds).

It had its supporters, but Danny Steinmann's A New Beginning is the latest victim of an increasingly difficult franchise elimination. Ironic that Part V bit the dust in Round V. Will Part VI follow the same pattern? Unlikely. The votes are spread across the board as we enter the second half of eliminations. Make it count.
