Re: Von's TV Guide
Well it's looking worse and worse for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Last week or so it's only doing like a 1.3 rating. Granted Friday nights are a TV wasteland, but these ratings are even bad for Fox Fridays. The ratings also have bottomed out, and still continue to fall, as interest continues to go down.
The question now becomes, does Fox give it a renewal for next season, hoping that Terminator: Salvation will create a Terminator-fever, and boost ratings in the Fall, or do they just say T:TSCC has nothing in common with T4, and they go ahead and cancel it?
I believe series creator Josh Friedman is already writing the final Season 2 episodes, as if they are the final of the series.
It's not looking good.
Re: Von's TV Guide
That's really too bad. The latest episode of TSCC was ace. How're ratings for Dollhouse? I really like that one.
On a side note, tonight's Heroes continued the intriguing Fugitives storyline. This is easily the most captivating the show's been since the first season, and now there are all these cancellation rumblings over rising episode costs and an ever decreasing viewership. Come on people, Heroes is an investment. You have to be in it for the long haul. This show's picked up big time and I'd be sad to see it ended too soon. Well, tomorrow night is Nip/Tuck's season finale. When the show finally does come back, it will be to finish itself off. Bittersweet.
Re: Von's TV Guide
Dollhouse's ratings were expected by Fox to be weak, and they've actually exceeded their expectations, but not to a degree to really warrant a 2nd Season. It's also considered destined for freshman cancellation.
Joss Whedon nutswingers are swearing up and down that Fox is not giving the show a good lead-in, with the terribly rated T:TSCC, and that ratings would improve if they were to possibly move or go ahead and cancel T:TSCC, and put maybe House re-runs on Friday nights as a lead-in for Dollhouse.
But those in the know don't believe Fox feels Dollhouse is a "grower", and that most likely both T:TSCC & Dollhouse are pretty much as good as dead.

I watched Dollhouse on Hulu this weekend, and it seems pretty good, so that's too bad. (although all that really says is I'm just one more person not watching it while it's on.)
Next question is, how many more cancelled shows does Eliza Dushku need before doing Playboy?
And Von, 100% agree about what Heroes is doing at the moment.
