This song Brother ain't bad. I'm a bit curious as to why it wasn't on Ten.

i hate that hard sun song...its pretty gay...it was played so damn much

i liked the first 2 albums...vitalogy was ok...then they kinda got progressively worse IMO until the S/T album a couple years ago...i dug that one

though i must admit the rearview mirror compilation was pretty sweet...the good songs off the intermediate albums when placed in the midst of the other hit off the first few actually fit pretty well... smile been meaning to go back and give those albums listens again but i cant be arsed to track them all down

I'd have to disgaree about them going off he tracks. I think Yeild, No Code and their Self Titled album are all better than Vitology. They lack the manistreme singles sure but musically they are every bit as good as the albums that came before them. Binaural and Riot Act were definately subpar. Ironically I think the Eddie Vedder's work on the soundtrack to Into the Wild is better than any Pearl Jam album.

I agree with this statement especially when concerning the VERY underrated Yield.  In fact Yield is ONLY second to TEN in my opinion.  Fantastic gem that many overlook.  Given to Fly/Wishlist/In Hiding/Faithful and Low Light are some of the best work ever recorded by this band.  Vitology was only "so-so" and wouldn't have been successful if Pearl Jam were not still riding the success wave at this point.
