I used to be a HUGE Pearl Jam fan.  They were my 2nd favorite band after GNR, and when GNR were dormant in the mid 90's Pearl Jam was just about to take over.  I loved the first 3 albums.  I thought No Code was good too but it didn't match the first 3 for me.  I stuck with them through Binaural but only liked a song or two off that CD so I gave up at that point.  I've only heard a few new songs of theirs over the years.  I've liked them for the most part but haven't been motivated to buy any of their new CD's.  I did get to see them live for the first time last summer though and I have to say they KICKED ASS!!!  I'd highly recommend seeing them if you get a chance.  Unlike most bands, and this isn't a shot at GNR, their setlist is pretty much completely different every night.  One negative there is you're most likely gonna leave saying, "I can't believe they didn't play........"  But you're gonna have the opposite reaction on some tunes as well.  Eddie and the band sound great live though, put on a great show.

metallex and faldor.  I highly recommend their self titled record.  It rocks!  It is their best record since Vitalogy and may be better than Vitalogy.  While I always bought their records, I had lost interest since No code as well.  But their last album brought me back.

Maybe I'll check that out.  Is that the one with "World Wide Suicide"?

Yes it is.  It's a beautiful album.  Still is a regular on my list.

I find Yield to be SO underrated!

I agree and I think Wishlist is one of their very best songs.

It's a good album, yet the rest of it is not like WWS at all. It's very Versus feeling, like acoustic on a cold night being played by the warm fire with Vedder mumbling along. It's good though.

As to the song Brother, it's a cool song. I don't think it wouldve been a hit off Ten. More like Oceans or Once (which I really like)... Cool to hear it though, definitely sounds like Ten PJ, be interesting to have heard it mixed in with the album.
