Dawn is a masterpiece. I think it was you who agreed with me somewhere else about Snyder's remake being so overrated. Speaking of which, as far as Night is concerned I think I prefer the Savini remake.

Nah, no way. Savini did a good job, but the original Night is an absolute classic.

I finally checked out Diary of the Dead.

I was pleasently surprised. I was worried for Romero's Dead franchise after the mediocre Land, which followed three masterpieces in the original Night, Dawn & Day. Land, even though it followed the Romero formula, was a bit too Hollywood-slicked and streamlined for my tastes. I had hoped he wasn't selling out...

Diary of the Dead totally restored my faith. It's not Night, Dawn or Day, but Diary is a very good film that is SOOO Romero, and the amazing thing that Diary does that Land failed to do, is Diary creates a GREAAAAATTTTTTT atmosphere. Something that defined Night, Dawn & Day. I was worried that Diary would go the route of being Blair Witch w/ zombies, but it's shot great, and creates an atmosphere that throws you into the roles of the characters and the situation, and Romero once again tackles social commentary by attacking internet culture.

I was very pleasently surprised by the experience. Picked it up for a crisp $9 bucks at the Circuit City "we're fucked, and everything must go" sale.

I know it got a limited release in theaters, but for the most part it was a Direct-to-video, and DTV-budgeted release. For that... it's certaintly one of the best DTV & zombie films you'll ever watch.

So is the third in the trilogy "Day Of The Dead", where the Zombies basically almost end up being the good guys.

Now I feel like an 13 for not reading everything.
