Re: Tommy says GNR tour hopefully to be announced
Guns N'Roses shoud beg to open for U2 this year. I doubt U2 would ever go for it and Axl would have to check his ego and go on stage at 8:00 but it'd be a fantastic show for sure. Plus Axl could use Bono's mic techs and we could actually hear him for once.
It'd never happen but I actually think this would be really cool. Gn'R could play a scaled down show and it would be full steam ahead for an hour or so. It'd force U2 to come outta the gates rocking as well.
Guns N' Roses opening set:
Jungle
Nightrain
Better
Prostitute
Street of Dreams
*Knockin' on Heaven's Door with Bono
Paradise City
Chinese Democracy
You Could Be Mine
November Rain
There Was a Time
* KOHD would be a bonus depending on time

Guns should take the Motley Crue way. Get a few newer bands and and just grind the road all year.
oooo
GN'R
Coheed And Cambria
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Loaded
Black Stone Cherry
That would be a show i'd kill for.
Re: Tommy says GNR tour hopefully to be announced
They already kind of had something going with that in 2006. The shows I saw featured Bach, Papa Roach & Guns, and there was a WIDE array of age groups there. The older fans loved Bach, the younger fans were totally into Roach, and everybody came together for GN'R.
I've seen it work. They can do this, definitely if they want.

Only reason Bucket isn't getting any attention is because he obviously doesn't care and is content doing his own thing on a small scale.
James is right.
Not to mention the fact that, oh, I don't know, BUCKETHEAD DOESN'T TALK. Oh, yeah, and he's NOT IN THE BAND ANYMORE!
Seriously, use your fucking brain for a second.
