They are saying the government is ran by dumb monkeys. Not that our President is a monkey. No where does it say "Mr Bobo the President" and the chimp isn't wearing a suit or anything making reference to a president so I think people are just looking into it too much.

To play devil's advocate, Bush was portrayed as a monkey in cartoons for eight years. But since Obama is black and in the words of Chris Matthews, "black is in", it changes the "game" in which it is used.
BLS, no one is gonna wake up. Credit lines are frozen, trillions are being printed as we speak, the stimulus bill offers incentives to states to place people on welfare rolls, and conservative republicans are now even embracing government seizure of banks and other institutions.
The liberal utopia has arrived, and its here to stay until the country collapses.

Oh I think I might have it. I think the intention (or implied intention) was that a bunch of random monkeys wrote the (stupid or senseless) Stimulis Bill at random, then gave it to the Senators to pass. Isn't there a saying "Put an infinite amount of monkeys in front of an infinite amount of typewriters, and sooner or later one of them will write the Bible." They should have played off that, & mentioned infinite or something.
Still not funny, but maybe the author didn't see it from the racism angle at the time. Who knows, maybe he did & snuck it past.

A black man is president. As far as I am concerned the black's race card should be expiring soon enough.
And James yeah I know but it's always nice to wish. It's hard to wake people up who don't care enough too see we as a country were blindsided people Obama and Palin. I think people wanted to make history more than a stable country.

Is that NY Times or NY Post? I can't see a liberal rag like the NY Times print a cartoon like that, and a response like that.
