If people honestly think humans will not suffer an Ice Age or another global disaster or shift in the way things work than there is no hope. I've heard theories that this is actually the beginning stages of another mini Ice Age so go figure. The problem is things are changing and no one has an answer for it so like man usually does we try and explain what we simply cannot understand at this point in our life time. Sooner or later we will learn not to fuck with Mother Nature and let her take her course.

Agreed. What people don't understand is that it's all theory. Scientists know this, regardless if they are pro or anti-global warming.
This is a cliched retort, but remember, we also had scientists convinced at one time the Earth was flat, and others that thought that the SUN revolved around Earth.
We have an arrogance when it comes to the universe, to just assume it's all about us. We're animals, no different than freakin' dinosaurs. If our day comes, and an asteroid hits, or something else, just the way the chips fall.
Humans cannot control a fucking planet. Forget the Highlander II shit, we simply are not near as powerful or smart as we think we are sometimes, and that's the problem. More and more as time goes on, the whole prospect and belief of global warming looks like a RELIGION, rather than scientific theory.
