This album has leaked. Listening to it for the first time now, and I'm literally shocked by this material. It's a massive departure from any of his prior material. If you've ever wondered what Cornell would sound like doing pop/R&B fluff, go check it out.
He's obviously just aiming for what's currently mainstream, and it's a huge disappointment. Someone as talented as Cornell should not be wasting their talents in this capacity.
He should have wrote this album for Rihanna and just sat back and watched his bank account fatten up while doing something else.

How does this compare to that song he did for the bond movie? I liked that even though it was somewhat commercial but then didnt like the rest of that album.

After Carry On I decided I wouldn't listen to any 'new' Cornell unless he was working with someone that interested me.

Listening to the songs I have so far, this really does sound like something Rihanna would do.
I'm surprised this album is as popular as it is right now. This album is all over the torrents.
