Damn, I actually remember that Zelda commercial. Amazing how cheesy those commercials were, especially considering that Nintendo was always such a powerhouse based on it's marketing. Back when Segas looked better than NES and NEO-GEO and Sega handhelds were color and blew away the GameBoy, Nintendo was a household name and most people owned their systems.
And I have to say, I find it amusing and very satisfying that video game stuff gets posted under Sports Junkies on this site.

That Sega system competing with NES in the late 80's was pretty damn good, but it had very limited games to choose from. Thats why nobody wanted it, and about one in every million gamers had one.
Its main selling point was Afterburner, and considering the fact the whole world had dumped tons of quarters into that game at arcades the previous few years, no one gave a shit.
There was a great jet game on that system, but I forgot the name. It wasn't dogfighting shit like Afterburner. You were in a bomber and just blew all kinds of shit up. I passed it. Good times.

Since we're talking about old nintendo shit, anybody remember this side scrolling game. You were in a little yellow jet and you just had to shoot shit and avoid obstacles. I forget the name but I used to play it all the time and I must find it again!
