I used to be a big fan of the WWF. I had all the figures and the ring, and the Wrestling Album from 1985. I ran across this article today on that very album.

Great New DVD coming out, they really do know how to use their back catalogue. Their library is so huge, I know we have often brought up how they blew the potential Hogan vs Flair feud in the early 90s in WWF, but they did meet on house shows and such, and one of these matches, is on the DVD

Stuff with Sting and Vader from WCW, while the guys still had it I always like to see, many forget but before the likes of Beth Phoenix, Awesome Kong and such, Bull Nakano was the big monster heel women, and very good in the ring as far as women go, her matches, from what I remember with Blayze were a treat to watch, and having Diesel's Intercontinental Title win....from an episode of "Superstars", wonderful!

I've been going though some of my "older" WWE dvds in the last week (partly thanks to this thread!), and I got to thinking about how cool "Primetime" was. I loved that show. It was a 2 hour show on Monday nights on USA, before Raw debuted. I remember it being kind of late, so I would have to tape it and watch it when I got home from school the next day. I believe that showed some house show matches, had cool "round table" type discussions. I love that stuff.

I remember one of the first times I started watching wrestling was in 1992. They showed Ric Flair vs Bret Hart for the WWF title in Canada somewhere. After they showed the match--with Bret winning the title--they went back to the studio and showed Mr. Perfect and Bobby Heenan making excuses for Flair. I think they said he was sick and shouldn't have been out there.
NY Giants82, do you remember who hosted that show? I think it was Gorilla Monsoon and Heenan. But I think Lord Alfred might have had a role in the show as well.

Yep I believe you are right. I remember them on there. Heenan and Monsoon were terrific together.
